We fell in love at first sight with Estrella's calming and inviting Instagram account @by.es.trella. It is an endless scroll of interior inspiration. Her photos reflect an aesthetic that is optimistic and modern. And, her home has a soft, romantic touch that she brings together through a neutral, white and grey color palette with hints of warm orange- in carefully selected camel and terra-cotta tone accessories. |
AS YOU WOULD IMAGINE, SHE HAS QUITE THE EYE FOR MUST-HAVES IN
DESIGNING AN INSPIRING BABY OR TODDLER'S ROOM. THIS WEEK SHE HAS
SHARED HER MOST IMPORTANT DESIGN TIPS JUST FOR YOU.
I believe storage space is very important, so that there is no visible clutter. A chest of drawers and a wardrobe with lots of space. (So there's space for lots of cute clothes, haha)
A great (rocking) chair is also lovely for giving the baby its bottle in this room.
A rug (or play mat) for ambiance, and to keep your feet from getting cold when you have to rock your baby to sleep at night.
Storage baskets/boxes to just throw all the clutter (toys) in, so you can tidy up quickly.
I started with the rugged green from his brother's room, but wanted to give the room a calmer look this time... Grey is always a good choice for creating a warm ambiance and so is wood or bamboo. The bamboo rack on the wall is a good example!
Buy loads of baskets and such, so you can avoid clutter and keep things organized!
Enjoy it; make it the loveliest room in the house. ♡
Instagram, Pinterest and nature!
I would like to make a little play area in the living room but the crib is in the way. One day it'll go and then we can continue with this plan...
HER ACCOUNT IS A MUST FOLLOW FOR ANYONE WHO LOVES… BEAUTIFUL INTERIOR PHOTOGRAPHY, NEUTRAL PALETTES AND CLEAN LINES, AND OF COURSE, TO GET A GLIMPSE INTO HER LIFE WITH HER ADORABLE FAMILY.
